MORE INVESTMENTS IN EDUCATION ARE NEEDED

The importance of Education should never be underestimated.
If a small percentage of the investments in the so-called military industrial complexes would be diverted to Education, the whole world would immensely benefit.
Unfortunately most of today’s governments in the western world, seem to do exactly the opposite.
Classes are being eliminated in France, in United Kingdom student taxes are being augmented, the conditions of some schools in the southern of Italy are in poor conditions, the US invests more money in building prisons than in schools, etc.
Nevertheless the above Countries are spending billions of dollars in Afghanistan to continue a war which seems to have no definite purpose.
If Drones were used to drop pencils, pens, books, and other school supplies, maybe the Afghani children can build a better future for themselves.
We should all march with our mouse to convince people in governments to change their present approach.
Real democracy starts from the bottom up.
Let us keep in mind  Margaret Mead’s quote:
“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
